The Accountability & Continuous Support Unit at the Colorado Department of Education offers a wide-range of technical support and training.  Below are offerings related to state accountability, including accountability updates, performance frameworks, accreditation, improvement planning, family and community school partnerships, and more. Accreditation and Request to Reconsider Webinar

CDE staff will host an informational webinar to discuss the accreditation or request to reconsider process in 2026, including how to submit the accreditation form, information about request conditions, and opportunities for technical assistance. The webinar will be recorded and publicly posted.

Insufficient State Data Webinar

This session will specifically address the new Insufficient State Data: Low Participation called for in S.B. 25-1278.  Details of this new identification will be provided, including the timeline, expectations, and support available. This session will be recorded and materials posted.

This webinar is intended for state and federally identified districts and schools that received a Priority Improvement or Turnaround Plan type or Comprehensive Support identification to understand and prepare for additional stakeholder engagement and planning requirements.

Understanding Accountability, Accreditation and the Request to Reconsider Process: Office Hours

30 minute one-on-one office hour sessions with CDE staff are available Mondays and Wednesdays from September 1st until October 15th to help address any questions about the accountability, accreditation or request to reconsider process. These sessions are not recorded or publicly posted.

Planning & Impact Workshop Series

The Planning Impact Workshop training series is a professional learning network for district leaders who supervise UIPs to strengthen improvement infrastructure and leverage peer connections.

UIP 101 Webinar

Webinar participants will understand and be able to describe: 1) the purpose of the UIP, 2) the school improvement planning process and the UIP elements, 3) how to navigate the UIP online system, and 4) how to access supporting resources and technical assistance.
