Technical Advisory Panel for Longitudinal Growth (TAP)

Overview
The Technical Advisory Panel for Longitudinal Growth (TAP) consists of state and national experts on longitudinal measurement of academic growth for state accountability purposes, convened by the Commissioner of Education to provide recommendations to the State Board of Education. The TAP was created in accordance with the Education Accountability Act of 2009 (SB-09-163). All meetings are open to the public.

Technical Advisory Panel Membership Opportunity
CDE is seeking one or more additional members to serve on the state Technical Advisory Panel for Longitudinal Growth (TAP).
The TAP serves as an advisory body to the Department of Education regarding the implementation of the
Colorado Growth Model and the Educational Accountability Act.
TAP members are appointed by the Commissioner of Education and serve three-year terms in a volunteer capacity.
Applicants should have a strong foundation in educational assessment, student growth (including the Colorado Growth Model), research,
and/or accountability systems. We especially encourage applications
from individuals with experience in school or district leadership, advocacy, or other direct work with communities with a stake in school and district accountability policy.
Applications are due by June 30, 2026
