CMAS - State Summative Assessments

The Colorado Measures of Academic Success (CMAS) are based on the Colorado Academic Standards and measure how well students have mastered grade-level expectations in math, English language arts, science, and social studies. Results provide one measure of academic progress relative to the standards. Teaching the standards throughout the year is the best preparation for CMAS.

CMAS tests are developed by Colorado teachers with CDE and Pearson.

Practice Resources

View tutorials and examples of questions and scoring using released CMAS content.

These are the only state-sanctioned CMAS practice resources; however, districts and schools are welcome to create resources for local use.

CMAS Results

Families: Use your student's state identifier (SASID) to access results from previous years.

CDE cannot share student results or SASIDs. Check your school's student system or contact the district for help. SASIDs also appear on past CMAS reports.
