District Assessment Coordinators
District Assessment Coordinators (DACs) must be registered with the CDE Assessment Unit and approved by the district Superintendent in order to access state assessment data, secure sites, and receive important communications from our office and assessment vendors throughout the calendar year. DAC Kick-off
Each fall CDE Assessment hosts a kick-off to provide a high-level overview of state assessment activities and dates by program. The 2025-26 DAC Kick-off took place on September 4, 2025.
Annual Training Requirement
All district and school personnel involved in the administration of Colorado’s state assessments must be familiar with test security protocols and their individual responsibilities. Training is required on an annual basis for all personnel involved in any aspect of Colorado’s state assessment administration.
