Strengthening Colorado’s Educational Leaders
The District Improvement Strategy Office (DISO) was created in 2023 to support those leading improvement in Colorado’s schools, districts, and BOCES. We work across the Colorado Department of Education to align educators, CDE experts, and statewide partners around collaborative learning experiences that address complex challenges, strengthen systems, and improve student outcomes.
Through Leadership Learning Cohorts, EASI Language Learning Partnerships, conference presentations, strategic facilitation, and cross-office collaboration, DISO provides access to expertise, shared learning with peers, and opportunities to apply the Colorado Department of Education’s Strategic Plan in practical ways across schools and communities.
Together, this work strengthens leadership practice, builds system capacity, and improves outcomes for students across Colorado.
