Discipline Statistics
Student Discipline statistics contain information about students disciplined based on the state-reportable behavior, and the discipline action during the reported school year.

2025-2026 Student Discipline Statistics Workbook (XLS)
The workbook contains state and district level data for the following:
- Two year discipline action comparison
- Discipline action counts by behavior type and disaggregated by gender, grade, race/ethnicity, and student service
- Discipline action types disaggregated by gender, grade, race/ethnicity, and IPST
- Behavior incident counts and discipline action
- Referrals to law enforcement disaggregated by gender, grade, race/ethnicity, and IPST
- Handcuffed students disaggregated by gender, grade, race/ethnicity, and IPST
- School related arrests disaggregated by gender, grade, race/ethnicity, and IPST
Notes
In 2023-2024, as part of the implementation of House Bill 22-1376, discipline data is reported at the student level and in one file. The student level data collection improves accuracy and enables additional analysis, as it includes the behaviors and the discipline actions taken for each incident, in addition to the student demographic information.
School level data was collected up until the 2023-2024 school year.
