Special Education Data
The special education team collects and processes data on special education programming required.
The Data Management System (DMS) is a single sign-on system that assists Administrative Units (AUs) in meeting accountability requirements for Special Education and Gifted Education.
The Determination page contains information and links to both Colorado's level of determination and Local Educational Agency (LEA) or Administrative Unit (AU) Determinations
The IDEA requires each state to develop a state performance plan/annual performance report (SPP/APR) that evaluates the state’s efforts to implement the requirements and purposes of the IDEA and describes how the state will improve its implementation.
The SPP/APR includes indicators that measure child and family outcomes and other indicators that measure compliance with the requirements of the IDEA.
