Social/Emotional/Behavioral Trainings

The trainings on this page are divided into six topic sections: Serious Emotional Disability, Behavior, Mental Health, Social Emotional Learning & Affective Needs, Early Childhood, and Working with Families. Within each topic section there are three types of trainings: On-Demand Webinars, Online Courses, and By Request Trainings. On-Demand Webinars are recorded trainings that are available at any time. Online Courses are more formal trainings that are ran through the Colorado Department of Education Learning Management System, Moodle. Lastly, Bill Brown offers Trainings By Request Trainings in which he will fine-tune to the needs of the districts, administrative units or BOCES.

Three horizontal, colored chevron-shaped diagrams illustrate tiered professional development offerings, with the foreground showing the different tiers and their associated learning methods, and the background being a plain white space.

Professional Development:

Professional development is the continuous process of acquiring new skills, knowledge, and competencies to enhance your performance and advance the services provided to students

Technical Assistance

Technical assistance (TA) is the provision of targeted, specialized support to individuals or organizations to help them solve problems, build skills, or improve operations. It acts as a form of consulting rather than routine tech support, transferring knowledge through training, expert advice, and workshops.
