Academic Standards

The computer science standards describe a foundation of computing knowledge and skills designed to prepare students to be leaders in industry and more informed citizens. The standards emphasize the areas of computational thinking, systems and networking, programming, cybersecurity, AI, and digital citizenship.
Curriculum Support

The Computer Science Resource Bank was created through a collaboration with educators and industry experts. Authorized by the legislature in 2017, the online resource bank includes a wide variety of ideas for teachers, including sample curricula and materials, professional organizations, partnerships, and student opportunities.
Instructional Support

Instructional support for computer science can be found in the Computer Science Resource Bank and through state and national organizations that support the teaching of computer science.
Community

There are many opportunities to connect and grow as a professional educator with the larger mathematics education community, including mailing lists, professional organizations, and events.
