2026-2027 Resources and Information
Reporting Year
The 2026-2027 reporting year begins 07/01/2026 and ends 06/30/2027*.
LEAs need the ability to input data for any new data fields or data collections at the beginning of the reporting year, even if the data collection using the information occurs later in the reporting year.
*Per state board rule, LEAs may report students as graduates or completers in the Student End of Year collection who have a school exit date in the summer after the end of the reporting year. Students may be indicated as graduates/completers (school exit types 90 through 96) of the 2026-2027 reporting year with a school exit date through 08/31/2027. File Changes Summaries
Although some file extracts may not open in data pipeline until later in the year, any new data fields or codes must be in place by the beginning of the reporting year (07/01/2026) so LEAs can begin collecting necessary data for reporting.
