Educator Talent Rules Feedback
Rules for the Administration of the Educator Recruitment and Retention Program (1 CCR 301-113)
At a special meeting on Feb. 27, the Colorado State Board of Education noticed revisions to Rules for the Administration of the Educator Recruitment and Retention Program (1 CCR 301-113). The revisions include the following:
- a recommendation to reduce the maximum award amount to qualifying candidates to cover the costs of Colorado preparation programs from $10,000 to $7,500 to allow for greater participation (based on statewide stakeholder input)
- technical cleanup for clarity and consistency
How to Submit Feedback
The board will hold a rulemaking hearing regarding these recommended revisions at its April meeting. Formal written comments may be submitted online or via email to Colorado State Board of Education until their vote on the matter.
