2026 2e (Twice Exceptional) Summer Institute 

Join us this summer for the 2026 2e Summer Institute, focused on how twice‑exceptional (2e) learners adapt and thrive with their unique strengths and needs. This year, we are excited to offer this popular event at two locations:

Note there is no requirement to attend both dates.
Each day will be self-contained.


Registration Information

  • Registration for each day is independent of the other, there is no requirement to attend both events. 
  • Registration will close on Friday, May 22nd, at 5:00 pm.

Additional Information 

Professional Development Credit

  • Participants who attend this free training will receive six credit hours toward their Special Education/Behavioral Health license renewal requirement.

Institute Goals:

  • Educate a diverse audience about the needs of 2e learners, including their unique challenges and strengths.
  • Provide professional development by offering 6 clock hours that fulfill the Special Education and Behavioral Health licensing requirement.
  • Introduce Universal Design for Learning (UDL) strategies to implment with all learners but can be especially helpful to 2e learners.
  • Engage participants with unique simulation experiences to understand challenges and empathize with students.
  • Equip participants with actionable, real-world strategies that can be immediately applied in classrooms, schools, and homes.​
