Advisory Council for School Nutrition
The Advisory Council for School Nutrition advises the CDE School Nutrition Unit and serves as a regional resource for sponsors across Colorado. Members share regional perspectives and best practices, support peer-to-peer learning and help strengthen school nutrition programs through collaboration with partners and stakeholders.

What ACSN Members Do
ACSN members:
- Gather regional feedback to inform council discussions
- Share CDE School Nutrition updates, materials and talking points
- Support peer-to-peer learning among school food authorities
- Share best practices, resources and regional needs
- Help strengthen communication between Sponsors and the CDE School Nutrition Unit
- Meet at least 3 times per year with CDE School Nutrition
