Summer Meals Administrative Review
The purpose of the Summer Meals Administrative Review (AR) is to ensure program integrity and compliance, offer additional training and support and acknowledge the positive efforts and innovative approaches to service nutritious meals to children during the summer months.
Review Process
The summer administrative review includes a review at the sponsor and site level. The CDE School Nutrition Unit will review 10% of the sponsor's sites and observe one meal service at each site selected for review. Sponsors are contacted by the lead reviewer at least one week prior to the on-site review. The resources below will help you prepare for a review.
