Trainings

The School Nutrition Unit offers online, in-person and webinar training to increase school nutrition professionals' skills and knowledge in operating child nutrition programs. These trainings provide USDA Professional Standards hours and count as Continuing Education Units (CEU) for the School Nutrition Specialist (SNS) Credential. Use the Professional Standards training tracker to document participation in continuing education opportunities.

April 23 On the Menu: Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program

Local Food Program Office Hours

CDE School Nutrition is hosting virtual office hours every Wednesday at 2 p.m., beginning March 25 through May. All sponsors are invited to attend these one-hour sessions, to learn more about the Local Food Program and address questions.

Summer Food Service Program Office Hours

Join virtual SFSP office hours every Wednesday at 2 p.m., beginning April 8 through April 29. SFSP sponsors are invited to attend for support with completing the SFSP application packet.

Wages and Stipends Grant Office Hours

The Wages and Stipends grant offers funding to eligible sponsors to provide wage increases and/or stipends to frontline food service workers. CDE School Nutrition is hosting virtual office hours to support applicants. Business officials and foodservice directors are encouraged to attend.

Office hours will be held from 2-3 p.m. on the following dates: March 2, March 17, April 6, April 21, May 4, May 18. Use this link to join the meeting.
