Graduation Guidelines FAQs
Full implementation of the Graduation Guidelines Menu of Options went into effect for students graduating in the 2021-22 school year and beyond.
This includes:
- All students who have an Anticipated Year of Graduation (AYG) of 2022 or beyond, including 3 year graduates
- 5th and 6th year seniors with an AYG of 2021
Reporting:
The legislated requirement to report Graduation Guidelines is in place (22.11.204(4) C.R.S). LEPs must report how each student has graduated in Reading, Writing and Communicating and mathematics. The Graduation Guidelines Reporting File is a Student Interchange File and part of the Student Year End Collection. Find more information on the Reporting Graduation Guidelines webpage.
Promising Practices:
Find guidance and promising practices for each of the Graduation Guidelines competencies from the Menu of Options on the Implementation Strategies page.
