New: HSE for K12 Flyer

This resource was created to help address misconceptions around HSE options for students still enrolled in high school. It is meant to help school and district professionals understand their options for supporting severely credit-deficient students via HSE programming. This is not a comprehensive document but an overview. Reach out to the HSE office to discuss further.

HSE Newsletter

Inaugural HSE Community Webinar

In Spring 2026, the HSE office hosted a Community Connect webinar to bring together HSE practitioners from around the state to share best practices, challenges, and speak to publishers directly. Because this is a new effort, a cadence is still being worked out for the frequency of these webinars. The next date has not been decided yet but will be posted on this page.

  • 2/25/26 HSE Community Connect recording, slides, and GED's slides (this is a large file with known accessibility issues; reach out for a more accessible version)

    • Answering submitted questions - 31:20
    • HiSET – 38:01
    • Large group discussion (resources, engagement, & celebration) – 43:33

DiplomaSender

Updates

  • Effective March 9, 2026, DiplomaSender's live agent hours are 8am-1pm MST.
  • DiplomaSender's phone number is now outgoing only, so students will not reach anyone if they call it. Instead, students should request a callback using the chat function on the website, if desired. DiplomaSender returns the vast majority of call requests within 15 minutes. The chat bot is still available 24/7.

Contact Cards

Print these cards to provide to students so they know how to order their HSE records after credentialing. These are business card-sized when printed and cut along perforations.
