Office Hours
Please register in Zoom to receive the link to join office hours for The Big Three starting April 20 through July 2, 2026.
Overview
Colorado’s “Big Three” (SB25-315) aims to help students graduate ready for careers and further education:
- 12 College Credits
- An Industry-Recognized Credential
- A Work‑Based Learning experience
The goal of CDE is that every student, upon high school graduation, has achieved at least one of the Big Three. Start-Up and Sustain Funding will support districts in expanding these opportunities, providing resources to improve student outcomes and making pathways more accessible statewide.
Eligible Expenses
Eligible expenses under The Big Three include:
- program planning and design
- instructional materials, technology, and equipment
- professional development, certification, and licensure
- staffing or contracted support for program implementation
- individual career and academic plan (ICAP) resources
- concurrent enrollment expenses
- work-based learning expenses
- transportation
- outreach and marketing to students, families, and business
Reporting The Big Three
For Sustain funding, districts will report Industry-Recognized Credentials (IRCs) and Work-Based Learning (WBL) through the CDE Data Pipeline.
