2026 School Nurse Orientation
The 2026 School Nurse Orientation (SNO) for Colorado School Nurses was held July 14th & 15th virtually via Zoom and was not recorded. New school nurses who were not able to attend SNO are encouraged to explore the many resources available on the School Nurse Basics page and to attend other trainings listed on this webpage that are offered throughout the year.

AsthmaCOMP (Comprehensive School-Centered Asthma Program) is a statewide community of school nurses applying standardized best practice asthma care in schools.

On-Demand Online Course: Building Bridges for Asthma Care - School Nurse Training Series
The Building Bridges for Asthma Care program was designed as a school nurse-oriented program by an interdisciplinary team of allergy and pulmonary specialists with input from stakeholders including a national steering committee and school nurses. This is considered a next level, comprehensive, systematic approach to a school-based asthma care program and school nurses can use it to build an asthma program for their schools. Prior to this course, we recommend you take our introductory Asthma Management Foundations & Challenges for School Nurses (above).
